About Lou Patisserie & Gelato

Lou Patisserie & Gelato is a patisserie, gelato and coffee brand in Tangerang, open since 2023, with pastries and entremets envisioned by Chef Audrey, a Le Cordon Bleu alumna. It has two branches, at South Goldfinch in Gading Serpong and at Living World Alam Sutera. Both are cafés as much as shops: guests come to work, meet friends and stay, and Lou’s own reviews mention “strong wifi” alongside the pistachio gelato and the coffee.

What a café network has to handle

• Tills and payments: the point of sale and card and QR payments need a connection that does not drop at the counter.
• Guest Wi-Fi: guests who stay to work expect fast Wi-Fi across the whole floor, kept apart from the business systems.
• Security: the entrances, the counter, the dining area and the kitchen need watching, with footage the owners can check from their phones.
• Two branches, one standard: both sites should work the same way, so staff, owners and support do not have to learn two setups.

What we installed

PT Nathanael System Solutions designed and installed the same stack at both branches:

• Branch network: router, firewall and switching for each outlet, with separate networks for the tills and staff, guest Wi-Fi and cameras, so a busy guest network never slows down the counter.
• Wi-Fi access points: ceiling- and wall-mounted access points placed for full coverage of the seating areas, the counter and back of house, with a guest network for customers.
• Structured cabling: cable runs to every access point, camera and terminal, terminated on patch panels, labeled and tested, so the next change is quick and tidy.
• CCTV: IP cameras covering the entrances, the counter, the dining area and the kitchen, recording locally, with live and recorded video on the owners’ phones.
• Installation and handover: at Living World we cabled during the fit-out, before the store opened; at South Goldfinch we worked after hours so the café kept trading. Everything was tested end to end before handover.

Results

Both Lou Patisserie & Gelato branches now run on the same network: tills and payments on their own protected segment, Wi-Fi strong enough to earn a mention in guest reviews, and cameras the owners can check from anywhere. Because both sites are built the same way, a third branch can follow the same plan.
